California Mid State Rally
First time for me.. Going to this one!! Almost didn't make it. The "Little Dog" had something wrong with her ear.. So Chrissy stayed home with the pup and at the last minute. I decided to ride solo to the Event. I stopped in Hollister to hook up with my Brother Hollister Steve and we took the "back-roads (don't ask me which roads we took.. because I am not quite sure!!) to Paso Robles. A friend of the "PacBell Guys" had offered his backyard as a camping area to the Crew.. Our thanks to The GaryMan for his great hospitality. It was good to see the Bros again.. The 350 mile ride was scenic and beautiful.. Next time? I will keep a closer eye out for Cows and "suicidal squirrels"!!! LOL! We checked out the Rally on Saturday. Very well organized and a mellow event. We cruised it for a couple of hours and then hit the road for some riding. Great riding country!! We did about 120 miles and made it back to GaryMan's place for a great barbecue! I left early Sunday (at the crack of dawn!) morning to go home and check on the Family. The Bros were staying until Monday.. It was great riding with you Guys.. Ride Safe and Ride Free (Forever!!).
